You are invited to the opening reception of this inter-generational exhibition centered around the Seven Species (Wheat, Barley, Grapes, Figs, Pomegranates, Olives, Dates) and the artists' collective relationships to femininity, fertility, resilience, and growth. This circle of women artists, including matriarch and renowned sculptor Nancy Schön, stretches across three generations of the Schön family. Utilizing their diverse talents in various media including paint, clay, dance and mosaic, the artists present a feminist re-imagining of the seven species.
