Amidst rising antisemitism, many local communities are struggling with how to respond and determine what is actually antisemitism. The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) penned a Working Definition of Antisemitism 14 years ago. In the US, the debate about the Definition is on-going with many American Jews unfamiliar with it yet. Congregation Or Atid has invited Rob Leikind, Director of American Jewish Committee (AJC) New England Region, to educate our community about the IHRA Working Definition: its history, its content and its possible applications.
