High Holiday Service Options for Children and Teens for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur
Junior Congregation for Children Ages 6-12 and Young Families
For the first day of Rosh Hashanah we have planned an engaging outdoor program including a nature walk and discussion, tashlich service, and high holiday prayers from 10:00-10:45 AM. For Yom Kippur we will hold a Junior Congregation service which will take place outside, weather permitting from 10:00-10:45 AM.
Teen Programming
Rosh HaShanah Day 1 @ 11:15 AM: Congregation Or Atid's Racial Diversity and Equity Working Group will lead a teen discussion. All are welcome to join, outside in the tent in front of the front door of Or Atid, or in the library, depending on the weather.
Yom Kippur @ 11:15 AM: A guest from the Charles River Watershed Association (About) will be leading a discussion about the importance of maintaining a healthy watershed and ways we can support their mission to restore and enhance the Charles River. All are welcome to join, outside in the tent in front of the front door of Or Atid, or in the library, depending on the weather.
