Youth Groups

Congregation Or Atid has a very active United Synagogue Youth chapter for both Senior and Junior USY. These are open to all Jewish young adults in the area. We are involved in social action projects, religious activitites at Or Atid and social events. We also encourage participation in all regional USY activities. Highlights this year have included a chocolate workshop, bowling, a Teen Shabbat, and a Dance-a-Thon at Mitzvah Day.

Chocolate Making: After the enormous success last year, USY will be having another chocolate making event on Sunday December 7th at 4PM at Or Atid. It is completely free! We will make chocolate lollipops, dip oreos and pretzels into chocolate, and decorate it all. Everyone will able to eat some chocolate and take some home to share with families. We will also be selling the chocolate as a fundraiser at the synagogue. This is certain to be a lot of fun and very delicious, so you don't want to miss out!
