Prayer

Prayer Services at Or Atid are warm and highly participatory in the egalitarian Conservative tradition. Services are led by Rabbi Sally Finestone,Tora with the assistance of the Ritual Committee and many active members of the congregation.

Shabbat Services
Shabbat services are held every Shabbat throughout the year. Additional services are held on all major Jewish holidays. Regular Shabbat services start at 9:30. Our services are open to all. Once each month the Torah Service includes an in-depth Torah Study, led by Rabbi Sally Finestone.

Shabbat is for Children at Or Atid
Congregation Or Atid holds Shabbat services for children, in 1st grade and younger, twice a month at 10:30 Saturday morning. These services are in the school wing and coincide with the weeks that Shabbat B'Yahad is held for the older grades (2nd through 6th grade). Each service includes a children's prayer and Torah service, along with stories, songs, dance, games and arts & craft projects. All of the activities are centered around a theme or holiday appropriate to that month.

Children's babysitting is available every Shabbat and, of course, children are welcome in the sanctuary services as well.
