Or Atid will host its first: Or Atid Reads.  

The idea is to share, as a community, the experience of reading and discussing a relevant book.  The selection is The Zookeeper’s Wife, by Diane Ackerman, a true story of a Polish Christian family that hides Jews in the dilapidated Warsaw zoo, and helps smuggle them to safety.  It is an engaging story about the resistance, the zoo, the animals, the keepers and their “guests.”  Most importantly, it is rich with material for discussion about taking risks, preserving normalcy, and what we think we know.
