Task: Organize and put into boxes to send off to OA college students. Cards of Passover greetings will be created as well! Women’s Shelter Gift BagsNeeded for this project: Sample size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap, hand cream and other toiletries.Task: Organize and put into gift bags, tied with string. Crafty Kids!!!Make Tissue Paper Flowers to give to the residents of Norumbega Point Assisted Living of Weston. Needed for this project: Adult supervision to help kids create the flowers in the morning and adult drivers to go over to the facility to give them away to the elders waiting for us. Knitting with the Sisters!Get your knitting needles and crochet hooks ready to help make those beautiful scarves we are so proud of! Donations of this year’s scarves are going to recipients of the Welcome Jewish Baby program! Food CommitteeHelp prepare your Mitzvah Day “Make Your Own Pizza” for the afternoon lunch! And, help bake treats for the people at Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen to enjoy. We need at least two adults in the kitchen for all shifts. Extreme Rakeover (weather permitting)Bring your rakes and get to work outside clearing out all the muck from the winter! USY’s Sponsored Car WashDonations accepted but not required. Any proceeds will go towards the Interfaith Hospitality Network to benefit homeless families in our Metrowest area.
