We are pleased to provide information about the High Holiday services this year.  Services will once again be led by Rabbi Sally Finestone and Cantor Lisa Avery-Peck

Members may purchase additional tickets for children older than 25 years of age and relatives of members for $180 per adult for all High Holiday services inclusive. 

Non-members may purchase tickets for $250 per person for all High Holiday services inclusive.

A limited number of complimentary tickets for Rosh Hashanah 2nd Day Services will be available again this year.  These tickets are intended primarily for prospective members and for guests of members.  Please contact us at highholidays@congregationoratid.org or contact the Synagogue office to reserve these tickets.

Children's Services

Congregation Or Atid conducts a children's service for children ages 3 to 6 years, and a Junior Congregation service for children ages 7 to 13 years on both days of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur. Both services run from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

CHILDCARE (3 months – Grade 4) REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The High Holidays are very early this year, immediately following Labor Day.
  Please plan on sending in your forms soon as possible, prior to leaving for summer vacations, and
NO  LATER  THAN  AUGUST  9TH

For registration by August 9th:
$20.00 per child for childcare for both days of Rosh Hashanah, and
$10.00 per child for Yom Kippur.

If you register after August 9th, please add a $10 late fee to each registration.

Space is very limited.  Please register early.

There is no babysitting provided for the Kol Nidre Service

 

ADDITIONAL CHILDCARE INFORMATION

-All children must be registered with childcare staff upon drop off.
-No child will be allowed to leave without a designated adult.
-Parents should bring appropriate equipment and supplies for the child, i.e. diapers, wipes, bottles, sleeping or carrying seats.
-Please do not send in any snacks.  Kosher snacks will be provided by the synagogue.
-Age appropriate toys and crafts will be available for the children's use.  Every effort will be made to accommodate your child's needs. Parents will be asked to remove disruptive or inconsolable children.
-Siblings will be given special consideration regarding placement, depending on the number in each room.
-There will be no supervision for older children (over 8 years). To ensure the sanctity of the day and respect for other congregants, parents will be responsible for supervision of their older children.
-Children in Grades 5 through 7 are welcome to drop into the High Holiday Youth Lounge in the Library following Junior Congregation, where games and a light snack will be provided free of charge.
